Fall Season: Week 5 Updates & Announcements
Week 5 of the regular season is here and we are very excited for our matchups this weekend. All of our games are home this weekend, and we ask that everyone be attentive to the following reminders:
Parent/Spectator Code of Conduct: 703 United Youth Sports Leagues is committed to providing a safe and fun environment for our families and players. Therefore, we will continue the enforcement of our ZERO TOLERANCE policy for anyone who demonstrates abusive language or confrontational behavior. Violators will be given one (1) warning. On the next infraction, the violator will be banned from all 703 United sponsored events for the duration of the season. Depending on the nature of the situation, the ban may take place after the first infraction. Additional penalties may include the player’s removal from the league for the remainder of the season If any issues arise, please immediately notify a Field Marshall, Board Member, or Coach.
The following are PROHIBITED at all times:Pets of any kind, except for service animals, Weapons of any kind, Alcohol, Drugs, Tobacco (including smokeless), Sunflower seeds on turf fields, Loitering/Solicitation , Parking in unmarked/unauthorized spaces (tickets and towing at owner's expense).
During games, all spectators must remain behind the barrier/rope in the bleachers. The only individuals permitted on the sideline are Coaches, Players, cheerleaders, Team Coordinators, MPR, and Chain volunteers.
Team Responsibilities on Game Days: 1st Team/Game of the Day – will be responsible for helping with field setup. This includes setting up tables, markers, the tunnel, etc. All Teams will be responsible for sideline clean up at the end of their games. Trash bags, gloves, and trash pickers will be available at the Concessions Stands. As a best practice, begin trash pickup at the beginning of the 4th Quarter of your game. Last Team/Game of the Day – will be responsible for field break down. This includes setting up tables, markers, putting away the tunnel, etc.
Home Game Weekend: 09/29 - 10/01
Come out and show your support for our home games this weekend.
Friday, 09/29: League Team Building @ Saunders MS @ 6:30pm: Join us on Friday evening for our league-wide team building during our scheduled Friday practice time. During this time, our Cheer Team will demonstrate their new routines and there will be refreshments and other team activities.All participants are encouraged to wear white.
Saturday 09/30 - Sunday 10/01: Home games will be played. It will be a fun-filled weekend including a 50/50 raffle, and team auction basket fundraisers.
Picture Makeup Day - October 2 & October 3
Picture day has been rescheduled for October 2nd & October 3rd at Saunders. The photographer will be at Saunders by 5:30pm to start taking photos. Teams are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to take their photos. Coaches or Team Coordinators will communicate what your child should wear for the team photos. Please remember that in order for your child to be included in the team photo, they must be present as there are no make-ups if your child is not there. Please see the picture day schedule below:
703 United Day @ Washington Commanders Game
Invoices have been sent to all families that have requested tickets. All invoices are due by October 1, 2023 to secure your ticket.
There are limited additional tickets available for anyone still interested in attending the game. Tickets are selling fast, so please don’t delay as these tickets are only held for a limited time before being released to the general public.
Washington Commanders v. New York Giants game is on November 19th. The cost is $150 per ticket with some added perks: players/cheerleaders will get the tunnel experience, where they get to go out on the field during pre-warm up when the players walk on and off the field. There is also an opportunity to take pictures and get autographs.
How to secure your tickets:
Complete the 703 United Day @ Washington Commanders Game Interest Form.
An invoice will be sent based on the number of tickets requested.
Once your invoice has been paid, your tickets will be sent via email to the email address provided on the interest form.
